Configuring ACL for Roles |
|
Before you begin this task: You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin.
By configuring ACL for a role, you can define the privileges for that role. If this role is assigned to a user, based on the restrictions associated with the role, the user is granted or denied access to applications on Process Platform. You cannot set ACL on Application roles.
- On CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager). The User Manager window appears.
- Select Roles - Roles view or Roles - Users view or Roles - Tasks view in the User Manager window, depending upon your ACL requirements.
- In the Roles pane, right-click a role and select Security option. The ACL Explorer dialog box appears and displays the existing ACLs.
- Click . The Access Control Set - New Access Control Set section appears.
- Fill the required details and click . For more information about these fields, see ACL Configuration Interface.
Depending upon the configuration, ACL is set for the Role.
Note: To delete an ACL, right-click it and select Delete option. Alternatively, you can click in the Access Control Set section.
